The film tells a story that takes place in a Northern Shaanxi village at the end of 2022, where three castrated goats make a fuss.

On a cold night, a man entered the pen he owned and shot himself. During the commotion, three goats escaped the pen. That morning, Sabina Stein leaves the government office to the field, and together with Alik, an office clerk, they are required to find the three goats that went rogue.
